Job description
We are looking for a VMware Specialist to support and maintain a highly specialized infrastructure environment where availability, continuity, and security are critical.
You will work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure systems are optimally configured, monitored, secured, and maintained. The role combines platform administration, lifecycle management, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity awareness within a complex enterprise environment.
This position requires strong VMware expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving infrastructure services.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain VMware-based infrastructure environments
• Monitor platform performance and system health
• Analyze and resolve infrastructure incidents and technical issues
• Support lifecycle management activities
• Implement cybersecurity measures and best practices
• Optimize platform availability and continuity
• Contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives
• Identify opportunities for platform improvements
• Support infrastructure modernization projects
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
Required Skills
• Current VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience with VMware vSphere
• Minimum 3 years of experience with VMware vSAN
• Experience with operational and lifecycle management
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience managing complex infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
