About the Role
Our client is building software systems for complex environments and is looking for a Software Engineer focused on Developer Experience and deployment processes.
In this role, you will work across engineering teams to improve workflows, reduce friction in development, and build tools that increase overall velocity and reliability.
This role includes regular travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build internal tools, libraries, and frameworks
- Improve developer workflows and deployment processes
- Optimize build and compile times
- Develop scalable systems for deployment across cloud and edge environments
- Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
Tech Stack & Environment
- Python, C++
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Bazel, CMake, Buildkite, Jenkins
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
- Linux / ARM systems
- Terraform, Ansible
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Python or C++
- Experience with CI/CD, build systems, and deployment pipelines
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience with automation and scripting
Nice to Have
- Experience with Go, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience in automotive or similar industries
- Experience deploying to on-prem or hybrid environments
