About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company building scalable platforms used across multiple industries, including lead generation and data-driven services.
They are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to take on a technical leadership role, working across the full stack while helping guide and scale the engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong engineering skills with leadership experience and wants to take ownership of both product and technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to full-stack development across the platform
- Work closely with leadership to define and implement new features
- Manage and mentor a remote engineering team
- Oversee system architecture, scalability, and performance
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new engineers
- Maintain and improve existing systems and infrastructure
Tech Stack & Environment
- TypeScript across frontend and backend
- Next.js, React, Fastify, tRPC
- PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery
- Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Spanner, Dataflow)
- Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing and deployment processes
Requirements
- Strong experience as a full-stack engineer
- Previous experience leading or managing engineering teams
- Solid understanding of scalable system design
- Experience working with modern cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-traffic systems or data-heavy platforms
- Familiarity with monorepo architectures and CI/CD workflows
- Experience in lead generation, SaaS platforms, or similar industries
