Join an early-stage San Francisco AI company building an autonomous assistant that connects with everyday work tools, automates workflows, and enables users to create powerful product experiences around their work.
As Senior Product Engineer, you'll take significant ownership of the product surface, particularly frontend architecture and user experience, while working across the stack to take features from rough concepts through production.
This is not a narrowly scoped frontend implementation role. You'll be expected to make product and technical decisions, solve complex application architecture problems, and ship complete experiences without relying on rigid specifications.
The strongest candidates combine deep React, Next.js, and TypeScript expertise with evidence of building sophisticated web products and working effectively in early-stage environments.

• This is a full-time, on-site position in San Francisco
• European candidates who are genuinely open to relocating to San Francisco can also be considered

Job description
You'll be responsible for taking rough product ideas through architecture, implementation, and production delivery, with particular ownership of frontend architecture and high-performance user experiences.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who combines deep frontend expertise with strong product judgement and the ability to own full-stack features end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment.
Responsibilities
• Own complex product features from initial direction through production delivery
• Drive frontend architecture across a sophisticated React and Next.js application
• Build responsive, high-performance user experiences for complex and data-intensive workflows
• Own full-stack implementation where required to ship complete product features
• Make architectural decisions around state management, caching, invalidation, optimistic updates, and rendering performance
• Turn loosely defined product direction into working software without depending on detailed PRDs or finished designs
• Maintain a high standard for developer experience and UI architecture
• Work closely with a small early-stage team to rapidly iterate on product ideas
Required Skills
• Deep hands-on expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
