About the Role
Our client is building a platform focused on talent development, helping companies improve performance through structured coaching, mentorship, and data-driven insights.
They are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to build and own the data function from the ground up. This role combines architecture, analytics, and engineering, with a strong focus on creating a reliable data foundation for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the data architecture and overall data strategy
- Build and maintain data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, storage)
- Ensure data quality through validation, testing, and monitoring
- Define and standardize key business metrics (e.g. retention, revenue, activation)
- Build dashboards and reporting systems for internal teams
- Work with engineers to define tracking and instrumentation standards
- Support teams with data access and improve overall data literacy
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience designing data architecture for scalable systems
- Strong understanding of data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Experience with Python or similar for data processing
- Experience applying engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
- Strong communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience building a data stack from scratch in a startup environment
- Familiarity with modern data tools (dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog)
- Interest in AI/ML-ready data structures
What’s Offered
