Job description
We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to build the cloud and edge platform powering an AI robotics company transforming physical security.
You'll own the infrastructure that connects cloud services, operators, and fleets of autonomous robots deployed in security-sensitive environments. Working directly with the founding engineering team, you'll build scalable infrastructure, secure networking, CI/CD pipelines, observability, developer tooling, and deployment systems that enable engineers to ship software quickly and reliably.
This is an opportunity to shape the technical foundation of an ambitious robotics startup from an early stage.
Responsibilities
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Design secure networking between cloud services and robot fleets
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud and edge deployments
• Manage Kubernetes and K3s environments
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or similar tools
• Build developer tooling and internal platforms
• Manage OTA updates and secure deployments to edge devices
• Improve security, secrets management, IAM, and compliance foundations
• Collaborate closely with software, AI, and robotics engineers
Required Skills
• 4+ years in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE
• AWS, GCP or Azure
• Kubernetes (production)
• K3s or lightweight Kubernetes distributions
• Terraform or Pulumi
