As Field / Site CTO, you will establish the local technical organization, lead complex enterprise AI implementations, support strategic customer engagements and build an engineering team from the ground up.

This opportunity combines hands-on software architecture, technical leadership, enterprise delivery and commercial involvement. You will work closely with large enterprise customers to implement advanced AI solutions while shaping the company's engineering presence in the Polish market.

The ideal candidate has previously founded or co-founded a technology business, retains strong hands-on engineering capabilities and has delivered substantial enterprise technology projects.

We are looking for a Field / Site CTO to establish and lead technical operations in Poland for a rapidly growing applied-AI technology company delivering enterprise AI solutions.
This is a founding technical leadership opportunity combining hands-on engineering, complex enterprise implementations, commercial engagement and local team development.
You will work directly with enterprise customers, lead initial technical implementations, contribute to winning new accounts and build the local engineering organization from the ground up.
The ideal candidate combines founder-level ownership, recent hands-on software architecture experience and a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions within large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
 - Establish and lead the local technical organization in Poland.
 - Own the technical delivery of initial enterprise customer implementations.
 - Architect and oversee complex AI-enabled software solutions.
 - Remain actively involved in technical decisions, system architecture and hands-on problem-solving.
 - Engage directly with enterprise customer stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
 - Support commercial discussions, solution design and technical aspects of winning new enterprise accounts.
 - Recruit, develop and scale a high-performing local engineering team.
 - Coordinate complex, multi-month enterprise implementations from initial planning through delivery.
 - Manage technical and organizational challenges across customer and internal teams.
 - Establish effective engineering practices in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
 - Drive the development of new technical capabilities and delivery processes from the ground up.

Required Skills
- Approximately eight or more years of software engineering experience, with substantial recent hands-on technical involvement.
- Previous founder or co-founder experience, preferably involving technical leadership.
- Experience building products, engineering teams or business units from an early stage.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-month technology implementations for large enterprise customers.
- Strong software architecture and engineering experience, particularly in backend or full-stack systems.
- Experience leading technical teams while maintaining practical engineering involvement.
- Exposure to both startup or scale-up environments and complex enterprise organizations.
- Clear evidence of increasing technical and organizational responsibility.
- Ability to communicate with senior enterprise stakeholders and contribute to technical sales discussions.
- Fluent Polish language proficiency.
- Willingness to work from the Warsaw office four days per week.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
