Job description
We are looking for a Data Management Consultant to support a large-scale digital transformation program focused on improving data governance and data management practices.
You will work closely with business and technology teams to establish governance structures, define ownership models, implement processes, and ensure long-term adoption of data management standards.
This position combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on implementation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a data management framework
• Design practical operating models and governance structures
• Define roles, ownership, and responsibilities
• Create implementation roadmaps and priorities
• Establish data management processes and standards
• Support organizational adoption and change management
• Collaborate with business, technology, and program stakeholders
• Deliver documentation, knowledge transfer, and sustainable operating procedures
Required Skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Management or Data Governance
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and operating models
• Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship, and governance concepts
• Experience creating governance structures and RACI models
• Experience defining data quality and reference data processes
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
• Experience defining Data Owner and Data Steward roles
